  1. yes i do agree. i love dreamweaver, but i did find it a lot easier to use frontpage to edit templates and stuff. dreamweaver had some problems with spacings and junk. you would move something and it would just go all over the place. yeah, frontpage does create a lot of un-needed code though. thank god i figured that out a while ago. i was amazed at all the crap they toss into it. dreamweaver is better, but not perfect. it is always best to go over the code yourself.

I may be a bit of a dunce when it comes to code, but I couldn't get the same template to even work after editing it in frontpage. However, dreamweaver (even though it kept switching font on me) worked.

That being not particularily experienced in either. I still liked dreamweaver better.

  2. I've used a lot of other players before, a couple from creative and even philips sport's line. It took a lot for me to crossover so-to-speak to the ipod, but what I do like about it ( I have the 30G Video) is that it does what I want it to do without any issues. Music sounds great, picture is beautiful, nice basic menus, but still lot's of options. Add to that I've recently switched to using it as an alarm clock. It's very refreshing to wake up to beautiful music and know that everyone around you isn't going to be screaming at you to shut your alarm off.

  3. Now Please correct me if this is false, but arent you forced to use apple's software to load mp3's onto your Ipod? I was under the assumption that this was the case, hense me buying a 30gb zen jukebox.

Not technically, there are thirty party software out there to do such a thing. Personally though I like the itunes system as it works nicely, and is easy to organize. My complaint is with the ipod videos and the slow kickstart after being off for a bit...or maybe I'm just that lucky to get a defunct ipod as well.

  4. Just got one for my wife last week.So far its about 45% quicker than her old g5 at final cut.
she says loading fonts in illustrator is about a 1min load instead of a 5min load with her old one.
(she has about 9,000+ fonts.. i kid you not.)
other than that, its pretty seemless.

    just my .02

I'm updgrading from Intel's new motherboard for personal PC from last october ( 3.6 GHz) to the fifteen inch (which is just the right size, large bright, beautiful and it fits better in more bags) and it's a good 50% faster if I were to clock it. The problem's I did have with it were that it warmed up really fast (I'm not sure quite how to fix this), and that little detail I got a defunct model, although they were very supportive and a new model is on the way with ony minor questioning.

I can't stress how brilliantly beautiful the screen is on this baby.

  5. I Loved this game. For about a week. Honestly, it was good until i got stuck in the Chronicles of the sword. I couldn't get anywhere and constant random fighting is just dull, even in the most blunt of fighting games. The character creation was a good aspect, but even then, the characters weren't very customizable. I usually just kept the same guy doing the same thing with a different color scheme. It was rad, but at the same time it was pretty dull.

I'd have to agree with the person above. I just don't have the attention span for fighting games anymore, I played the original soul edge for days, weeks even, but what made it great was the ridiculously bad-acted stories. I bought the second soul calibur when it came out, and it had nothing, no story to it whatsoever. Companies are getting lazy in that department.

The good thing though is that it has a nice character generator, although I'm more eager for the next Virtua Fighter because of it.

  6. All I know is Mac is making it particularily hard on me to switch to a mac after 12 years of working on windows PC. It was bound to happen eventually, but I didn't expect it so suddenly.Personally, of the built in mac software I like Garageband and Notes. Both of which are of actual use, my complaint lies with iWeb, which seemingly even though you get iLife, there isn't anything you can do in iWeb unless you buy their account.Evil Crap Monkeys.

  7. I'd have to say I can't really stand it personally. Nothing agains Youtube, but the frustration with it and the inability to create a hard copy from the files to my knowledge is like the final blow to the head. I'm sure if you're bored and want to watch anything, it's just fine. But unless you know what you're looking for with exact phrasing (and even then) it's poorly loose search frame is useless. Also It tends to lock up on every computer I've tried should I attempt to resize it to full screen or other sizes.
