  1. AMD is definitely the way to go if you are looking for great performance at a great price. Acer is probably my favourite computer manufacturer. Just stick this extra 512mb of ram in and presto, you have a great pc while still being severely underbudget. Better performance than a 3.1ghz celeron d and 1gb of ram for under $450. http://www.newegg.com/Common/MessagePage.aspx?MsgCode=-1&ID=82 http://www.newegg.com/Common/MessagePage.aspx?MsgCode=-1&ID=51
  2. First I would like to say hi ya'll as this is my first topic. Lets see a little about myself... I live in Vancouver, British Columbia and am an avid hardware enthusiast (if you have any questions about hardware, feel free to give me a pm). Being a hardware enthusiast you may find that many of my topics to be hardware related, often linking to other sites (such as this one does). I hope that you enjoy my posts as much as I enjoy posting them . - Daily Tech Any ways back to the originial purpose of my post. As we all know the hardware race between nvidia and ati has been a tight one. Ati is probably intending to take the mid-high range crown with the release of the x1900gt. On some the other forums that I am a member of there is much speculation of whether the x1900gt will be able to unlock to a x1900xt (as they are based upon the same chip). If this is possible the x1900gt may become the new x800gto2 which unlocks to a x850xt at only $150. If this is a case it could become a hot item to buy. I'll keep you posted on any updates. Any other speculations? Edit: Oops... Sorry mods. I didn't realise there was a hardware forum. Please delete this post as I will be posting this in the proper forum.
  3. For me nothing can beat Flash FXP. I've tried most of the others listed, but none of them quite did it for me. I was always looking for a better FTP program (slightly overdramatising). Then I found Flash FXP and have been happy with it ever since (slightly overdramatising again ). I recommend it to all looking for a extremely good paid FTP program. You get what you pay for
