First things first:I apologize if this is in the wrong area. Now my computer is starting to show the symptoms my sister's computer had before it crashed. So as a pre-emptive knowledge before it happens I was wondering...When I replace my present computer should I get a Mac or a Windows? I've heard some pretty nice things about new Macs from people who have sworn their loyalty to the Mac years ago and people who have just recently converted. The conversion of the people from Penny-Arcade also has me thinking if these could be a worthwhile investment. I also want to know if there is still the crap about games being invalid for Macs. I want to know if this is still around or not because I'm a huge gamer and before any consideration of buying one I need to know if I need to buy a new copy for games such as HL2, Guild Wars, etc. Last but not least can someone who either uses a Mac or knows how reliable a Mac is? all I have to go on is the tales of their great stability. Do they have alot of power under their belt for being able to run a game with just as good if not better performance for intensive programs and games then what I already have? I also have a strong hatred of Bill Gates fueling my urge to do research when the day for replacing comes... =PThanks for your time.

I never joined Gaia Online because I was just overwhelmed by the vast number of members on that community. Needless to say I'm too intimidated to register and get a feeling for the community. I also tend to become very obessive about communities that I find awesome. If I joined Gaia no one would see me for months at a time. Happened to some friends of mine when I got addicted to Ragnarok.

hmm I could have alot of fun here. Too bad I actually agree with most of the top movies on imdb. Only thing I'm against there is how LOTR is rated higher then classics such as Philadeplhia and Forrest Gump. I'll play with this place when I have some free time later today.

That is one of the most hilarious things I've read about on the internet in a while. Course there was probably a large gap in the number of visitors on the website and the number of people who actually bought flowers. 10 years for a porn site. If that happened everywhere else in the world the prisons would be jam packed. As I said above it probably didn't help flower sales. It probably just increased the amount of visitors...and the amount he had to pay his host for the giant leap in Bandiwith usage.

I once saw a website with this kind of thing before. These are extremely cool and if I could find out how to code that thing I would try, fail, repeat. I'll give this one alot of thanks because by playing with it I discovered Mozilla Thunderbird.

Game maker is ok. I've tried to use it but I never really held my attention for that long(no surprise there ). One of the biggest things that annoyed me was that all the games I tried to play lagged the crap out of me. Even with nothing else running I still got lagged to death. Except for that major reason it is a decent game maker. I recomend you try it if your interested in those kinds of things. I'm the only one who seems to experiance harsh lag from those games anyway so don't let that stop you from having fun.

I never was really that impressed with freewebs. I used to use them alot a few years ago when I would make small websites with friends. As my websites became more and more ambitious and bigger their restrictions became a big hassle. Maybe they've changed but I don't know. I found this place last night and I'm very impressed with the features and the unique way of earning credits. Freewebs is forever gone from my mind but this place is in my highly recomended box.

you should be able to use your own videos for your Ipod. Although I have a nano I have seen video links for Ipod compatible files at websites such as purepwnage. I'm not sure what the filetype is but I'm sure a salesperson at a store would be happy to tell you.

I think Google talk does a better job at chatting then msn can ever hope to do. Msn concentrates on the flashy emoticons, winks, etc while not concentrating on the functionality of the program. Me and my friends have had more problems with msn messenger then any other instant messaging program. Over the two I prefer Google talk but I prefer AIM over everything.Oh and as a Canadian with Canadian friends I think it's 50:50 on msn or aim. I know people who hate one but love the other.

The last time I took a typing test my best times wre 85-90. My normal speed however was in the 70s.
