How long does it take your page to get authorised on this site and by which method do you find out... on here or via email ? like after you have filled out and posted the application for hosting... how long does it take ?thanks if anybody could help me with this problem

i like norton antivirus 2005 over 2006 for a few reasons.. there was an exploit in 2005 where u could use it til 2026.... it didn't stuff up people sending you mp3s... and wasn't as annoying in general... really these days it's not a program i'd recommend even if it was free! Ewido a free program i find is tons better and actually finds the programs.

partition magic 8 works some wonders trust me... also umm can't remember the name of the program my dad uses on his system for the win95/xp/dos/os2/linux hmm... it's something explorer anyways and works great....

This is really cool. It's probably a very small drive but I'll take anything for free. Microsoft has more than enough money to offer things like this.

so like has anybody received this thumbdrive yet??? and i'm from Australia.. so if they really are serious i'll get one... but so far it seems that it's all talk cause i haven't heard of anyone actually recieving one.. so if u have please reply... and with the country you are in. they are quite expensive here in australia quite weird cause they are all made in china heheh.. but that's what you expect these days hey... especially with free trade and all of those works...

but really microsoft only does things to advantage themselves.. maybe they are thinking that the chinese are a big threat to microsoft and that they must overthrow them now before it's too late... like i remember the days still when netscape was used by lots of people.. and look at it now 0.3% of my net traffic use it... firefox is the big stunner these days.. cause i only first heard of it a year ago and more people use that on my site then internet explorer... i wonder when internet explorer are gonna get their guys onto firefox
but then again you can't blame firefox being big with a company like google helping it on it's way.

FLASH is the way to go for animation. It's a multi purpose software. I use it for websites like for headers and whatnot while myfriend uses it to make flash games. Another friend of mine uses it for cartoons. It's the best program so far for animation. But if you want to create 3d animation i prefer using something else like 3ds max, cinema 4d or bryce--not really bryce i think it's better for still images, but it's still good. Flash 8 has a lot of features for web design. It's got the tools you need for animation and you've got ActionScript for gaming. so yeah Flash is the way to go, go but it it's worth it.

yes flash only sites are a bit boring.. but used properly on your site.. it can make a huge difference and make it look nicer to lots of people.. mainly girls... and girls are better to get to your site cause they buy silly stuff sorry if i sounded sexist hehe.. i love my gf very much hehe

dreamweaver and coffeecup are pretty good to use.. .but i always use old and trusty notepad... cause you have full control over everything you are doing and have your browser open beside you to make sure it is exactly what you want.btw having to do all these messages is a bit tedious hey hehehe but it's already as long as the mysql works properly it's all worth it in the end i guess.but yeh you wont find something that makes your page all up for you.. cause how will it know what you want.. .and if someone already made it.. they'd have it on the net for themselves to make money off... you see what i mean...

that is really silly i reckon that it's that much time... cause i run a forum and that is just bad but really people can get over themselves if they see a bad post anyways.... and basically it's mainly attachments that give bad posts anyways... cause swearing can be filtered.. so i don't really know what really is the concern hey. and it's great too being in Australia.. cause you get even a bit more freedom Only many things on the net are so hard cause you are not in the USA so you can't join certain places.. and yeh it's a nightmare.

Has anyone here ever used SMF arcade on this host Xisto ? SMF is simple machines forum... just curious cause some other hosts didn't like it cause of it's .htaccess file. But smf arcade rules and i so hope i can use it.. just i don't really know yet til i get enough credits that i can use my site... isn't that a downside... really it's not that bad an idea this site.. cause it gets all of us talking to eachother and stuff we should make up some more fun topics to talk about as well.anyways back to the questions so yeh you can create a mysql database from cpanel right ? and no limitations to the mysql ? if there are any.. can people please message back with the information.thanks in advance.

it's obviously faulty... bad to see... how old is it... does it still have a warranty... if it has a warranty definately take it back but yeh it would only be a solder problem basically... but it's very bizarre for it to happen that quickly.. like my pc engine now only plays a very very slight sound (it's a hand held) but that's like 16 years old that console so i don't really blame it... btw i love the pc engine it's rad.. anyways yeh take it back to were u brought it from cause if you try to fix it yourself you may just end up stuffing it up more and you will void any warranty then.

this is the best way to fix this situation... get a program like ztree gold... then go into that directory.. there may be still files in there... if there is delete them... some files u may not be able to delete.. .and you'll need a special program to delete them... cause some files have weird names and don't use proper letters and it says the file isn't there when it is. if there is no files in the directory... then that means there is only one reason left and that is your memory.your memory holds onto files when they load up and usually release them afterwards.. sometimes things do stuff up.. the best bet is turn your computer off for 2 minutes (so the memory does clear properly) and then reboot your computer... you should definately then be able to remove your directory.I hope this information helps you with your worries.

I still reckon the best way to go about that though is really to have google adwords and zango'ed content with just targeted ads from say comission junction or something like that... make a bit in every area.

yeah it would rock.. would be better if it didn't cost so much... i was designing a game a few years ago called lands of crom which was a multi player internet game... i gave up after 13 months of programming cause like you cannot compete these days against games like those even if you don't charge..

i've seen many sites around the net that have something on their page that says like 348 users online... does anyone here know how that is done and could help with this issue.... like i wish to record the number on users on all my 525 pages on my site and add them all together into 1 number that i show on the front page of my site (not just the ppl viewing that 1 page).... if anybody could help i'd be very thankfulthank you!

i use the easy way of cpanel ? or doesn't this host offer cpanel for mysql setup ?? cause i wish to run a games arcade forum with high scores (one of the most comprehensive on the net) :Pso i really hope it's not that hard.. cause i did have luck on another host.. but they didn't like my .htaccess file which was really annoying.and phpadmin is for just using your mysql database AFTER you have created your database... like i know that much

personally i think you'd need to be programming for about 10 years and know exactly what you're doing before doing something like that... i've been programming 17 years and doing the whole thing would still be a challenge... easiest way to do something like that would be with AGS.. there are readme files about how to put RPG adventure elements into your game.. and i guess that would be the easiest for you.. but probably still would be over your head.... take a course... if you need to ask a question like that don't even bother

I use VB a lot and it's extremely easy to use... but really the best language is C++ with asm routines.. every game toolkit is basically based in C++ too.. but if u don't care about speed of your program and if it's okay to run 40 times slower use something else

gamemaker is alright to use... but ags adventure game studio owns over it... but really game toolkits isn't programming u newbs

Firstly one of my mates has a cracked version of blitz 3d...secondly using one of those programs isn't programming... it's like playing a game... if you are just starting don't expect to write a game like diablo first off... cause no one really can... game companies have lots of people working on the projects all at once... the best way is to just make simple fun addictive games in VB or even better these days FLASH... would be a good start off point... if you must use games packages... AGS is very good can make sierra style games with only 1 week of learning. But really if you are dedicated you should do a course in programming.. and then be around other programmers and you'll get good eventually.
