Defragging tips: You can use the Windows Defragger. I have found it to work really well. THE best way to do it is this: Disable Virtual Memory. Disable Pagefile *WARNING!!*If you have less than 256MB of RAM, do NOT disable the Paging File! It will CRASH! Garunteed!Run the Defragging program. Once done, turn on the Virtual Memory and Paging file. For less than 1G of ram, paging file should be 1.5x your ram. Eg. I have 512RAM. My PG is 768MB. For 1GRAM and above, set it to the same amount. Eg. 2G RAM = 2G Paging file.

I've been using AVG now for almost 2 years and I havent' had a virus yet. But another free one that I have found quite good is Avast! A/V. While not as good as AVG, for those of you that don't like Shrek, Avast! is another option.

Me and my buddy were toying with this idea for the longest time: NFS: High Rollers. 4x4's racing. Kind of like monster trucks, but you can use vehicles like a Dodge Cummins Diesel truck, a Chevy Silverado 3500 Duallie w/8.1L V8 & 38 MT's..you get the picture. If a game like this came out, would anybody purchase it? I think it would be a wicked fun game to buy. You can finally own those stupid F-350's . Ah well. Just my .02 on the future of NFS. What do the rest of you NFS fans think will come next?

I'd like to add a little something to the shindig: Flash. Flash has its time and place. Mainstream websites are not a part of it. Say, for example, you design a website for Re/Max. First thing you do is make a nice, catchy flash splashscreen. Then someone comes along with Dial-Up and they can't even LOAD the splashscreen, let alone get to click the "Skip Intro" button--provided you put one in there. What's that going to say? It's not going to look good for Re/Max. A lot of people still use Dial-Up. Look at the big companies--Dell, Microsoft, HP, Sony. None of them have a flash splashscreen. They may use inline frames with flash, but not very often. They lean more towards providing ALL users with the same level of professionalism. This is especially important when your a national compnay. Take, for example, Australia. High-speed DSL or Cable internet runs around $100/month in a lot of places. So most people have dial-up. Not good for flashsites.

What do you guys think of Blu-Ray? Do you guys feel it's worth the money right now? Or are you leaning towards HD? What's the Pros and cons about both? Best Buy is releasing a Blu-Ray disc on March 23 and it retails for $1000. I was thinking of getting it, but I'm not sure if I want to wait for HD to come out, or what. From what I last heard, the adult industry was favoring Blu-Ray , and the computer companies were for HD. What do you guys suggest I do????

Okay, here's the scoop. In NFS: Most Wanted, you play the part of a person new to town who had his ride stolen (BWM M3 GT-R) by # 15 on the blacklist, Razer. He used your beemer to get to #1 ont he blacklist. Your whole goal is to get your car back. You start with the chose of a Fiat Punto, Lexus IS300, Chevy Cobalt and Volkswagon Golf GTI. The cobalt is the best one to go with as it ofers the best starting performance while leaving you enough money to upgrade it right away, if you want to. AFter that, you have to try and beat allt he other blacklist racers. EVery time you beat a blacklist racer, more upgrades and cars are unlocked. WOW: Unless you have to or reeealy want to, don't upgrade the body (bodykit, spoilers, etc.). This doesn't affect anything but your wallet. BTW & FWIW: I use a Supra. and WRX STi (Subaru Technica internationale [subaro's racing division, like Toyota's TRD])
