Oh, you mean this one: http://forums.xisto.com/topic/86830-topic/?findpost= If you would look into it, you'd see that Kopel's article was quoted. I even listed the source. No one has even edited it. I'm sorry but you have to understand, I've spent countless hours building the content on my site. Granted, it was my fault that I didn't make back-ups but my post still doesn't justify that claim, since clearly all credits were given. Just look at this: Source: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ I see a little bit of Xisto in this...

My site, cubedomain.astahost.com was there yesterday and doesn’t exist right now. I would like to know why.I had enough hosting credits on my account. So that wasn’t a legitimate excuse for deletion. The only reason that comes to mind why it could have been cut off was because my site is religious. And if you didn’t want it on Xisto due to that reason, you should have had the decency to tell me. I would have gotten a new host, I really would.I believe I deserve a reason. And if this topic is deleted, at least I’ll know I stood up for what I believed in.

I used to be so Internet illiterate. That was until I took a computer class. Then I understood everything. Most parents are computer illiterate. That's mainly because they didn't grow up with it. The Internet is quite new, to be honest. We're all pioneers of it.However, my parents so understand the computer. That's kind of sad, really. They probably know more about it than me.

The problem that shows here is ignorance, and stereotype. I apologize about my own conformity but you have to understand, I live in a country filled with hypocrisy. It may seem sad that I've actually come to say this but it’s quite true actually, if you think about it. While everyone here goes along and pretend we're all equal and stuff, we're all really racists on the inside. On TV, I’ve even seen a grotesque saying against a race. "I'm almost as dirty as a Frenchmen." It’s all in good humor of course but sooner or later, someone's going to believe that. Not much has been labeled here about Indians, but regarding Asians, they believe their vocabulary suck. While that's true in most cases (mainly due to dialect), you can't just say that about all Asians.Throughout all that, nowhere can you find racism more prevalent than in Indiana, USA. I mean, someone I know went there and was going to a gas station to buy a bottle of water. That guy's Asian, by the way. When coming up to pay, all the clerk told him was, "I’m sorry, but I can't help you." His reply was after thinking about what to say was, "Choosing between my own self-preservation, I would rather be selfish." Now there’s some food for thought.Having said that, I apologize for my stereotypical-ness. I'll try to avoid judging people throughout life from now on.

The problem for Xisto with most people isn't addiction, it's time-management. If you balance your time well enough here, you don't have to spend hours a day on it. In fact, you can even sustain credits going on once per week (believe me, I've tried that). On the matter of Runescape, the cause of most addiction like that isn't the fun factor, it's credibility. People like the high scores, and how people they don't even know admire them.

Astahost.com isn't so bad. That's just my opinion, though. It isn't even that hard to sustain credits. And even if you're a moderator, just look at moonwitch or microscopic^earthling. They aren't really on all the time and OpaQue still lets them keep the job. Granted, Klass was de-modded but that doesn't mean you have to spend 8 hours a day here.Remember, you can get as much done as a moderator in one hour than in eight, if you're productive enough. Efficiency is the key to save you some time. And also, Xisto will go by more smoother for you if you get at least nine and a half hours of sleep (last year I just got 5 but this year I'm changing too), prioritize and don't slack off. After you finish your studies then you can go to Xisto or party or whatever. As long as you get the work done first.

Addicting and Life-sapping Software A community-invoked list of software on the Internet that you should do your best to avoid. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Compiled By: The Xisto Community Created: October 22, 2005 Wow, the Internet! It's always full of surprises. Studies show Internet addiction is quite prevalent among teenagers and adults. Sadly, if you continue with your addiction, you'll eventually wind up restless and working in McDonalds. The purpose of this guide is for Xisto members to discuss their addiction, warn others, and get help quitting. Most people that are addicted deny it. The signs point to addiction if you: 1) Do it before homework. 2) Spend half the night on it. 3) Other bad things. Fortunately, there's help! And we're here to help you out as a community. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Myspace. This trend is popular among, well, everyone I guess. I mean, everywhere you go, you'll find phonies talking and exchanging Myspaces. Basically, you make your landmark on the Internet here and make "friends." Friends, my ---. Some friends. - EverQuest. This massive-multiplayer-online-role-playing-game (MMORPG) can be found in videogame stores. It's funny. A psychologist wanted to figure out what was so addicting about it that they wounded up addicted themselves. Fortunately, they quit to save their job. - Electrotank. Not really addicting. Just enough. - Ezboard. It's funny. It actually took a hack-attack just to get people off of this. You will find rumors that God Himself hacked ezboard. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Phew. That's all I can think of on the top of my head. Go ahead, list your past/current addictions and you can get help from this community. Oh yeah, on the topic of recovery, there is no better way to build character than in the midst of addiction. What better to learn self-control than through the pain of addiction. Christians believe that God has used addiction in their lives to help them grow. I am reminded of an old saying, don't let the things you own end up owning you. Balance your Internet and videogame time with the call to live a normal life!

It's true, the layout is a reflection of the community. It portrays how professional the service is, how people should act, and now new members will see the board as, at first glance. Basically, a layout can make or break a community. My idea is this. I think the community would be even better if we had a different layout. I noticed that the design we currently have uses no image, showing it to be more conveinient, bandwidth-wise. Granted, that works, but it would be a lot cooler if we did dab some images into the board. Sure it will leech off revenue but the community would look a lot nicer.Studies show most members come for the content and stay for the layout. If a layout proves more appealing, people would like it even more here. And a few images would do that. Not a lot, just few.Anyway, those are just my thoughts. Any feedback would be appreciated.Best,Andy

IMHO, you'll be ROTFL! A guide to understanding Email stupidity ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- By: Cube Domain Created: October 22, 2005 Licensed To: Xisto The Internet is, in the most general sense, quite stupid actually. Inhibitions are unknown, ignorance could not be more prevalent, and idiocy is the language of the majority of Internet users. They’ve even gone as far as inventing their own acronyms. You may use this guide to comprehend the language found mainly in email and message boards. Warning: Don’t use the acronyms here in Xisto. You may get banned. To start, here are the most common ones: BTW: By the way IM(H)O: In my (humble) opinion LOL: Laughing out loud LMAO: Laughing my --- off RO(T)FL: Rolling on the floor laughing OM(F)G: Oh, my ----ing God G2G: Got to go STFU: Shut the ---- up It’s quite sad, really. I’m not going to list all of the acronyms, it’s way too depressing for me. Feel free to add some you know.

Which Are The Best Wallpapers Sites please contribute

Warning: Don't download wallpapers from the Internet! The wallpapers that you can find on various websites over the Internet contain SpyWare, a program that records everything you do. SpyWare takes up a lot of bandwidth too, which is why most people with wallpapers end up with their Internet connection frozen all the time (believe me, I tryed it before). Thankfully there's another option. When you find a background picture you like, here's how to use it: 1. Right click the mouse. 2. Click on Set as Background. There. That's how you do it. -
Roxr looks pretty legit, actually

You don't own Xisto. As can clearly be seen by the forum guide, you may post ANY experiences you have about other people's products. Competitors? There will always be competition. However, you can't let that be your excuse to not improve. -
How Invisionfree thought of how you can edit your forum is quite screwed, actually. But if you're really devoted to doing so and you know your color tags/images, follow these directions: Step One: Open up your Admin CP and visit Skinning & Styles > Manage Style Sheets. Step Two: Delete the CSS coding currently there (that's your style sheet, by the way). Step Three: Your default style sheet was this: Make your own layout using this handy little chart: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I hope you find this helpful. Good luck with your Invisionfree endeavors! Notice from moonwitch: Nice copy from the Invision Site, and not quoting everything, next time provide a link to this stuff since it's just a copy, and the second part was a copy of the quote with inserts of your own. Credits were adjusted using the script.

My advice for you would to get a PlayStationPortable. PSPs are cheaper than iPods. With an iPod, you can only listen to music. However, with a PSP, you can listen to music, watch movies, play games that are comparable to today's top notch consoles and with a wireless connection (sometimes found in school, work, universities, etc.), you can browse the Internet! Yes, you actually can with a handheld system.PSPs are currently selling for $250 each.

Roxr Hosting doesn't look too bad, if I say so myself. I personally haven't actually tried the hosting plan but when first visiting, the site seems quite reliable and legitimate. Basically, they have a free account hosting and paid too. The free account offers 20 GigaBites of Bandwidth (200 Megs). I think it's forum based like Xisto - you have to post in their community for their hosting. Not half-bad, if you decide to check it out, let us know how it is.Speaking of other free web hosting plans, most of the free web hosting webmasters aren't that respectful of their users. I mean, after all, they aren't getting that much from us. Therefore, they don't care about us little people. It's only if you PAY them for hosting when they actually respect you. It's too bad actually. They don't just exist in the free web hosting industry, you can find these people just anywhere else you go.That's why Xisto is different. Xisto consistently offers an extraordinary plan, for free. And when you actually come to talk to the webmasters, they actually CARE enough about their "little people" to help you. I recently got back a few weeks ago discussing with OpaQue about a problem I had through email. The Xisto staff was very helpful. In the business world, kindness and respect is worth it's weight in gold. After all, that IS why I chose Xisto over Roxr. Even though Roxr has a better plan, you just can't find the support anywhere else besides here.
