  1. I experimented a bit with pathes in GIMP and this cat is what came out:

    Posted Image

The first one on the left is version #1 I didn't really like the eyes so I stroked the eyes and the nose (in the middle/Version #2). Then I hid the "eyeballs" (on the right/Version #3).

I don't really like the mouth but unfortunately I can't do better.

What do you guys (and girls) think? I know it's nothing special but it's kind of my "baby" B)

  2. I don't really feel this one. The background is nice but that's it (in my opinion).

It's a nice font but all together the text seems a bit flat to me. You may add a stroke, some brushes or anything else.

The thing with the small picture and the lines is a nice idea but there are two things I don't like: First, the vertical line looks like it's thicker than the horizontal one. Second, the horizontal line doesn't end at the top/bottom of the background.

The render and it's stroke are nice but the shadow is cut of at the bottom which doesn't look good.

Dont' get me wrong, your signature is nice overall but you should mind the little details B)

  3. Personally, I don't like any of the renders. Allen Iverson is okay, I'd give it a two out of ten (2/10). I'm very generous. Jedi Mind Trick is the worst. First of all, the color looks something like diarrea and the text is practically unreadable. Jochen Bendel looks too rigid, and the background color was honestly a poor choice. The grayness of Kobe Bryant is quite depressing and Metal Slug is too blurry. The gorrila one looks too, well.. no.

You should put more time into your sigs. Focus more on the quality than at the quantity.

Those are all my sigs - I did the Metal Slug one about six month ago and finished my newest one (Iverson) on this week's Monday. That's one signature per month. I woudn't consider that a "the more the merrier"-mentality B)

For the Jedi Mind Tricks one: Diarrhea :P Well, the text is clearly readable on my computer. Maybe your monitor's too "dark" or mine's too "bright" (I don't really know how to say that).

For the Jochen Bendel one: I photographed the tele - Usually that doesn't lead to high quality pictures

  4. Thanks for the comments (again :P )!@finaldesign: Yeah, i know it's kinda big - but I don't want to shorten it because it looks way worse when I do it my way :P For the diagonal line: I like it because it's not that conventional :P So I don't want to change it and I don't know much about Flash...@rhodesian.dragon: I don't really know what's "solid black". And I didn't fire up the Gimp and started from scratch. I've already known what it should look like (school's a great place to think about such things :P ). So I just had to do some mouse-clicks.@Casanova: I don't understand anything you've written :P

  5. First of all: thanks for the comments.I'll make the text brighter and stroke it when I'm at home and post it later. Here in school the banner seems to be way darker than on my computer at home :P Anyway, the homepage will be about Esperanto, GFX, and other stuff related to me.P.S. Gimp's kind of an equivalent to Photoshop. Since I'm a Linuxer I have to use it (which doesn't mean I am not satisfied with it)

  6. I used to play ogame last year for a few months. I had approx. 60.000 points but I lost like 1000 every day because my defense was kind of... not existent :P It was so stressful to regain all the resources I have lost so I stopped playing it.

  7. Hi :P I'm the new one from Austria. I really enjoy basketball (playing and watching games), videogames, webdesigning and GFX. I registered because I want to host my webpage about GFX, Esperanto and other stuff on Xisto (which doesn't mean I'll just post until I have 10 posts). I can't write) in english very well, so I hope that all of you will pardon my mistakes.
