After a post about PDF Reader and Acrobat... I found a usefull ressource (sourceforge.net : have a look on this site if you want to know how to find good freewares, and perhaps participate to great GNU/GPL projects...) to create PDF files : PDF CREATOR It should be use like a "virtual printel" in fact, and so that's really usefull, because you don't have to run a speciphic application, be sorry if this application doesn't support the type of document you want to create in PDF mode, and so on. You just have to select print in the application you work, and then select the PDF printer, that's all ! And free, too. -> Download it ? PDF Creator, the exe files, and links to language file

Get bored about time to wait while loading Acrobat Reader 6 ? There is an efficient tool, and this is a freeware. As we know, Acrobat Reader takes 16 Mo on a hard drive, and take a "certain time" to be ready (ie we wait a lot when it starts ! That's because this software loads, while starting, a great sum of modules -wich are not really usefull usually !-). Then,while surfing on the net, i found this site, https://www.foxitsoftware.com/ and Foxit PDF Reader (freeware). And what a surprise : this one do the same as Acrobat Reader 6, go really faster, and take only 2 mo on your harddisk !!! I use this freeware for a long time ago, and it's a really usefull utility freeware. I'm talking about SPEEDMENUS, it's a spped access desktop tool. Then you can move all your tonns of desktop shortcut in a custom Right Menu bar (it take place a the extreme right of your desktop). . you can make catĂŠgories, choose colors to category, and so on ! Desktop Theme is a very small and usefull proggy that allow you to select themes for Windows 2000 (all versions), and designing and publish an autoextractible windows theme (.exe that uncompress in the directory you choose, for exemple Program Files\Plus !\). You can download it at Left Side Software And this one have a bug really interesting to use : . Select a theme in Desktop Theme, apply and quit the application ; . reboot windows : you can see while loading that the old theme you had is showing while windows starts (after it diseappear and is replaced by the new selected theme : it's like this each time you will start windows !). Then, in fact, it shows old theme who is in c:\WIN NT\Desktop Theme\Administrator , file name is "Themepicture.bmp". So... You can by the way design a "waiting while staring picture" : you just have to design a picture, save it as a themepicture file (the same name, the same image format -ie .BMP). Cool, isn't it ?
