Could i run Linux operating system on my server and have my other 2 computers running on windows xp professional, as i have heard that it can be a right pain in the groin to network together. So would it be alright to do this or will it stop my internet.

mysql is really hard to me , i cant understand it all i know is a very very little bit of php and asp and quiet a lot of html as we learning web design at my school, which is pretty good. But databasing pretty hard, iv only used it once in my life and still had to get my friend to do it for me.but what do you think of mysql?and do you think its the best databasing ever?

lol thermoid everything is crackable. Linux probably the best server run operating system, but my question is, is linux a good home computer for use like around the internet and gaming , im not really sure about these sort of things lol but hope to find out soon

hi people, I was thinking of changing to linux too, but i dont really know alot about linux , I have heard it has better security than windows but dont know if thats true or not. as i have never used linux before im not formillier to the opertaing system and dont want to break my computer and one give any good advise on what i should do?
