  1. I find one of the best to use is iMesh,Although it comes with spyware (LAME!), i haven't noticed a depreciation of internet speed, loading times etc. It was the first peer-to-peer program, and it is damn fast. Other than that, i use azureus for my torrents. Average download speed is 50 Kbps on a 512Kb connection, dependant on seeds and peers. Bittorrents are definately the best for albums/videos, but all the sites are rapidly being sued and closing,

is one of the best out there.

  2. There is another way to bypass, although it doesn't work with all systems (on my school pc's it does :P ):

    1) Find the site you cannot access due to the filter on the connection
    2) Visit http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
    3) On the 'domain explorer' tab, enter the 'domain' of the site (just remove the '; at the start)
    4) A page will open with all the information about the site, including the ip address
    5) Copy and paste that ip address into the firefox (hint, hint :o ) explorer bar
    6) HURRAH!

(I would use telnet for this, but alas, the school has blocked the use of command prompt :P )

  3. Ye, i saw the game on tv, and it seems like a good concept, but whether they will take the "free" part of "freerunning" into consideration is another matter. Me and my friends are "parkour" beginners, and it would be a shame to see the game making you pick up power ups and collecting squirrels or something. But the signs point to a semi-shoddy release, im afraid. (They had to make all the characters the same height due to the way the moves are done with the buildings, step 1 in a makeshift tony hawk's methinks :P )
