I just had to make a comment about Xisto - Web Hosting's domain services. I really love them because it's so easy to use and affordable. So I really recommend members to make quality posts, because it's really worth it.

I use Windows Media player 11, since iTunes, Quicktime, real player, win amp... blah blah they all don't seem to load faster than Windows Media Player.

I used to use this AJAX powered one, but I seem to have forgotten what it was...If someone could find some AJAX powered and remotely hosted shoutboxes then that would be awsome!

I really loved Paper Mario mainly because of the storyline, and music that they used.

I would highly recommend Google Adsense. However, control the CTR, because Google is strict on false clicks.

And how long did this take? lol

It didn't really fail the first time, it's just that the forums started to die after I posted in that lightbulb joke.

lol, I probably have negative credits without any server glitches since I'm not hosted, but still a moderator at the same time. (a tiny tiny tiny problem but I don't mind it.)

Finally another reason to remove Office 11 from my computer (oh how I wish to remove that buggy software... but I NEED it... lol!)

I think this topic should be changed into "Online software license protection" or something similar.

Luckily, it works perfectly right now!

I'm glad you read it aloud, and I hear you clearly , Although I don't understand much about the subject anyways , I think it would still take quite a large amount of bandwidth...

Maybe make a version without sound for every page other than the first... how about a nice little flash intro? That would be so awsome!

hey, well: Xisto & Xisto ARE lower quality, which is only normal.

 

off course, you also have a lot of space & bandwith, but you have to share the same line & server with a lot more other clients. so the server is more stressed, the line more occupied and thus slower.

 

if you want really good & reliable hosting, you have to pay for it, that's it. then you have the right to complain too. i've had some problems with Xisto, but hey, it's a free service and it's as good as it gets for free, so i'm quite happy. however, i'll probably get myself paid hosting. alas, not on computing, but a belgian or dutch company as that's where i live. i think you'll understand the reasons as the price is about the same. support in my language and the guys are awake at the same time as i am, while opaque lives in the us is and wakes up when i have lunch haha, the lazy *bottom*! hehe.
