Serendipitous

Went to both of the sites and I didn't have any trouble with either. They are both very simple but seem to contain the information needed by the customer. Followed all the links and didn't have any problems. I agree with your wife and many others who have replied to your post that it is dark and perhaps you could consider another color scheme, but overall it works well the way it is. On the second site the java didn't take long to load and I thought it was cute and fun to play with. Of course, I love all things aquatic.. hehe Anyway, thats my input hope it helped in some way.

Thank you both for your time and input on this subject, however I have decided to give up on the whole frame crap. I have saved the information you have shared and perhaps I will try again someday. It was just soooo frustrating because I had it working on a previous website and now with my new one I can not get it to work. Oh well, not everyone likes frames anyway. Again thanks for your time..

I have, use, and prefer 1st Page 2000. However, the only other program I have tried is Front Page, which I don't care for... 1st Page is free and you can get it at http://www.webdesignland.com/ .

well, here is my opinion...the .info site could use a little sprucing up, but I think the flash movies are really cute.. I don't care much for the layout and the color scheme either.and the .uni.cc site looks good to me, yes it is simple looking, but sometimes simple is good. I think the layout and content is excellent. Very imformative..

I use 1st page (put out by Eversoft), and notepad, but would also like to try Dreamweaver. I also like the convience of having it displayed right in front of me.. but will use notepad if I am not at my computer. I have tried front page, but didn't care much for it.

As a newbie in web design, I am wondering why are frames a no-no? Many people seem to believe that and I am curious to why? Also, what is the difference between frames and iframes?

Hello, I am looking for some help with some flash buttons I made in flash mx 2004. I had made these link buttons for a livegate.net site I had going, until they shut down, and now I can not get the buttons to open in the desired main frame. I reopened the flash file and redirected the urls to an angeltowns.com and a freewebs.com site, and neither of them would open up in the main frame, they popped up in new windows. Is it possible that these sites won't allow it open, or is it something I am doing wrong? I am allowed to open it _self, _parent, _blank and _top, but I have it set on _blank. I believe that is what I had it set for in my previous livegate site. I hope I have given enough of a description for you guys.. if not let me know.. here is a link so you can check it out and let me know if you see anything that may help.. My Webpage Thanks
