i think that in the front page, u should have something else other than the image and plain black background. I suggest u to have the background merged with the image. I think it'll be better if the purple waves are not limited by the borders of image. u could do some text eff. on the enter sign in the image just like others found in ur website. Y do u left out the "enter" ? lol :Pand i personally dun like to browse in a new window after hitting enter.other things r just fine. i'd rate it a 4/10

BUT some how u may be ranked higher in SERP if u join the adword .. this is because by participating in adwords, ur website will be out of the SANDBOX sooner and u will be listed in SERP sooner if ur website is new.

 

Sandbox theory is that google will filter those new website that are submited and will not list them in SERP (search engine resulf page) for a few months -- (this only applies to quite competitive keywords) .

 

thus, paying for advertisement will overall help ur website out

illusion,i think google treats http://www.xxx.com/ as same a xxx.com .. the difference in PR might be just some errors of the toolbar .. try this to prove it :link:http://www.xxx.com/ and link:xxx.com both will return the same results.Vietpot,PR is PageRank u r right. Pagerank is the measures of the quality and quantity of backlinks of ur site

the are quite a few of meta tag like

- Author- Copyright
- Description
- Keywords
- Robots commands (like for google's spiders)
- Displaying commands (like disabling the IE imagetoolbar)
- Redirection info (URL redirection or Refresh)
- Content (charset, etc...)
- Country
- Language
- etc...

but most of them doesnt mean anything to the search engine, like country language copyright.. etc.
but the most important thing is : SE usually dun care about keywords but ppl always think that if i put "xxx" in the keyword metatag then my page could be searched by the term "xxx"

erm .. it depends ..if u r saying the awstat provided by Xisto,a different ip will be counted as unique visitor. u can disconect and reconnect and enter ur page , update ur awstat and u will see +1 unique visitor.but there're different way of counting unique visitors.i used statcounter b4,u install the code into ur page and i think they will assign a cookies to every visitor.and by this the counting of unique visitor is by referring to the cookies but not ip address. if u do not have a cookie that means u r a 1st time visitor.

google turns out to be the best SE now...when is ur last time searching things using yahoo ?i've forgotten.. personally i dun like yahoo at all now .. due to several factors.one is too much advertising on thier page. i can see 12 advertisements per listing nowthe other reason is that usually the returned results are not wat u want .. this is due to the yahoo algo ... they consider on-page optimization, kw density and all those stuff and we can usually see webmaster overdo this just for high page ranking. this is good for webmaster but aint that good for some1 who is really looking for something

oohh ... i had a more simple way of clearing all destop icons ( this is the simplest promise) :1. control+ A2. Delete3. Control + Z if u wan all of them back

hmm ... y do u wan a plain destop ?desktop icons are nice shotcuts and that would save u alot of time locating the folder or files that u will wan to run alwaystry delete those icons that u dun need or not-that-often used iconsi tried that hide icons .. n im totally dun like it .. lol ... may be just because my wallpaper sucks :Pi think i would use this command more often if my bg is a nice babe in swimsuit or without anything

i think that will only change ur dynamic IP addressif u wan to change the ISP/IP address i think u will need to reconnect to the internetsometimes some ISP will provide a fixed IP for u .. so u cant even change it

lol .. is 2Mb/s really 250kbyte /s ?i tot it's megabyte ... hmm .. i really dun think so .. then y r my ISP selling 384kb/s cheaper than 1mb/s ..i think Byte is the standard unit for bandwidth.just like international standard unit for measurement is in meters but not in cm, mm or anything else :PBtw ... i used the tweak ... my com shuts down faster .. but everytime i noticed some illegal operation - liked prompt out (i couldnt read wat it says as my com shuts down too fast)
