The two best WYSIWYG editors I know of are 1st Page and HTML Kit. I think the latter is better than the former due to it being able to have plug-ins created. Both give you previews of your pages in your default web browser. HTML-Kit also allows you to do FTP uploads, which is a time-saver (instead of having to change between programs).For a really new beginner, not needing all the "bells and whistles" - I would suggest 1st Page (by EvrSoft).
