when i am in the install page for phpbb2 forums i put the database type as MysQl 4.x which shold be right as it say that in my database but when i click install (An error has occurred during installationAn error occurred trying to update the databaseYou have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ''' at line 1) comes up wat am i doing wrong /missing?

hi i need help getting the server permission changed so that i can install the forums is says (Request denied.Verify that the file or folder exists and that you have the necessary permissions on the server to perform the requested operation) how do i change the permissions on the server??
