Let everybody choose what thay want. If anybody want to use Windows, ok. But you have to know that the Windows operating system is hardcore comercial software and its price is over deserved one. Wait... just wait and you'll see that Linux OS will become basic part in computing. More and more users are using Linux, because they see his advantages...

i agree with last 2 posts. If you have Celeron 1.7GHz and over that then you can upgrade your processor, but i recommend you to buy Pentium 4 Nortwood

You know... i've started to use DOS many years ago and after that i've installed Win 3.112 years ago I had dual operating systems... WinXP and RedHat 9.0Now I must say that i'll never again install Windows on my machine. It's very simple: Unstable on every step!

don't be scared with c++. Every thing that you are doing in C++ you CAN do in C but in more complex way... classes are invented to make peoples unsecured but it's not so hard... To all of you... I recommend you to use beginer tutorials just to read in the first time... You must know what is OOP and some algorithms and then you can make programs step by step...
