I think Xisto should have a foumr for suggestion for the Xisto site. It think it was good be good. I am suggesting a suggesting foumr.

I polished off the last 3 of my first round of roosters today, they are now resting in peace in my refrigerator. Hoping I can get the old man to run them threw the smoker instead of me just making fried chicken for dinner.
So now while my big pen is empty, I need to give it a good cleaning, and it looks like it is going to need another coat of paint. Sure don't need it rotting away the price of lumber these days. We just built it last year, it's a really nice chicken pen. As soon as I get it cleaned and repainted, I will have another batch of younger birds to go into it, that I now have in 2 smaller pens in the barn. I'll be glad to have my daily chore routine reduced from 3 pens to feed and water down to just one big one. I'm sure the Chickens will be happy too, they will be on the ground and have a lot more room. I think I will call in the local radio station on monday morning and see if anyone wants to buy some of the younger pullets I have. I saved back 20 from the first hatching, and that's more than enough to keep at one time.

Chickens are recieving a big "come back" these days, if you want to call it that. Many urban areas and in larger cities and towns are changing their zoning laws to now allow people to keep at least a few chickens. Some of the towns only allow you to have hens, they are afraid that the roosters crowing will disturb the peace, but it's the hens that lay eggs, so that's no big deal. This is great news for those folks, they can now have a way to produce at least a little of their own food, and chickens also great for pest control, eating bugs and stuff that othewise would have to be treated with toxic chemicals. A person can keep a small flock for very little cash outlay, they can mostly eat scraps and scrounge for their own food, you just need to furnish them a little grain on the side.

Chickens are just kind of fun to have. It's rather relaxing to just sit and watch them peck around. They are usually peaceful birds (there are of course some that are meaner than the devil himself, but for the most part they are pretty agreeable.) A lot of people are treating them just like they would any other pet animal. I'm on a chicken list at Yahoo, there are even people who put clothes on their birds and take them to town with them. Yea, I know, that's pretty silly, to me anyway, but hey, to each his own. At any rate they probably would make a fairly good pet, and really, when you can have a pet that gives something back, like eggs, what a deal!

Woah! your a chicken farmer too! Do you own a farm or what? I've never had that "farmer" spirt, I prefer robot chickens. :S I didn't know chilkens would let you put clothes on them. I've never done much research on chickens but they seem like nice animals. There are some roosters by my grandma because lives in the countryside of my state, and some dude that knew my grandma sued this rooster farm because the people were train them to fight each other but he didn't win.

Thanks. It's not the job for the faint of heart for sure. If it was just about raising pups it wouldn't be so bad. I can deal with the dogs, the cleaning, birthing, life and death, grooming, and to a point, the endless paperwork.(the paperwork might be another of my weaker points) It's the people end of the business that drives me crazy. Dealing with customers is the least of it though, for the most part that isn't too bad. I don't mind answering questions, but once in awhile I'll get some sap that will ask me a questions and I'll answer it, and then they ask me the same questions 3 or 4 more times, it's like they never even bother to read the emails I spend all my time writing to them. But the big fly in the ointment is the Animal rights wacko's and egotistical inspectors and those types that make me want to commit bodily harm to my fellow humans.

Of course, engineering could certainly have it's pit falls too. I'd hate to design a bridge and then have it fall on somebody!

Oh, yeah people can be incredibly annoying. Everytime I do a group project in school, I get the lazy "popular" folks, so I end up doing all the work and the teacher gives us the same grade! I wrote a whole 2 and a half page play about the rock cycle (it was awesome though) and it didn't include soem facts about how the rock cycle can change so I took the script and edited by MYSELF and I handed to her and she called me group over here, and asked if we put equal amount of work into it, and some popuar said yes. The only input they had in it was what charater they were. But I didn't take over and say I'm going to do this, none of them even voluteered to write it but I wouldn't let them but they would forget. So that is that story.
Well, not relaly into civil engineering, I want to make toys or be in this job where you do half engineering and half management. But I prefer to be a CEO or an owner of a company an dnot do anything. I am in the makin gof building a human ize robot but I'm having trouble find supplies. I don't buy the supplises I just pick stuff that I can use. So far I have a shoe box (foot), think cardboard tubes what was used to make my mom's shed (eyes), and an Ester price candy box (pupils of the eyes) I'm try to get my mom to find me a box but she keep forgetting, she works in management and her company gets products that come sin OMG! boxes shocker right? So if she could only remember.

Well, I think she doesn't like you but your her right hand guy. I have a bunch of those, then it really bothers me when they get a gf because I'm 2nd place, not that I am new to 2nd place, sadly , but if you get a gf that you actually care about (of course) see if your friend jealousy doesn't increase. If she is a:Good friend-her reaction should be happy for you, but on the inside she might be slightly jealousVery good friend-Her reaction will seem happy but some jealousy traits will show uplikes you-she will seem happy but will stop calling you, and talk to you in a ruder additude.Good luck!

I see one of your interests is the piano, do you play? I used to work for a guy that refinished piano's. I kept one here at the house for him for quite awhile until he could sell it. It was a real old one, with very ornate wood carvings. Beautiful piano. I always sorta wanted to learn to play. Well, actually I wasn't so much interested in playing as I was learning to play one single song on the piano. Ever hear the song Music Box Dancer? I just love that, it's a piano instrumental, very upbeat and cheerful. I did get to where I could pick out the first few notes of it, but when it got down into all the chords I was pretty much lost. Was fun to try though.

Yeah, I enjoy piano. For my school's talent show I am going to play Fur Elise, and the concerto (I think it is spell somewhat like this. I've never heard of that, I'kl search it someday, I like fast songs. I'll probably post some videos of me on youtube when a get a you tube, sadly I'm not old enogh but I will be in a couple of months. I have a strong conscious so I don't lie about my age, that is why I don't have a facebook, but all the kids in my school has one. But when I get an youtube I'll give you my username and you can search me I"m not extremely good not a Mozart, or Bach, It takes me about a month before I can play a song I'm learn (which is level 3 or 4) descent. Practice makes perfect.

Okay, I think I am old enogh to date but my mom thinks I should be 16 before I date because that was when she got asked out first. I am in middle school so I am between the ages of 11-14, I mean I'm not going to go to school the next day and say I've got a boyfriend. I am just allowed to date if I do find somebody (which is not a high chance of finding) If everyone else can date now why can't I? Actually, I didn't have somewhat of a bf in 4th grade but it wasn't really real, I wen tout with him because I felt kinda bad for him, he's my bud but all he is is skin and bones, but it lasted like 2 days, and I didn't tell her. So....I need to get premission, go out with him again before he stop liking me, tell my mom, and break up with him again, I am going to try but I don't think it will work out. I've been trying to keep it quiet because if my friends say something about it in front of my parents on grandparent day, or something like that what am I going to do. Also I have this problem when them making a big deal out of it (by them I mean my Mom, grandma, papa, and mom's husband) They will be like, "Oh, whats his name?" "oooh Kara has her first boyfriend" and stuff liek that and I don't want them to say stuff like that. Sorry I knwo this is really long but it is going to end soon. She tries to ge tinto my life which isn't bad today I went to my first dance and she asked me "tell me abotu yoru first dance, who did you hang out with, did you dance a lot, did you dance with a boy?" this was my answer "it was good, taylor, no really, and no" and that was the honest answer. So I need a lot of help. Do you have any ideas to help me.

How did you find this text message out? Can you trust the friend who told you about the text message?Those are the questions you need to ask or knwo. Also if she isn't truthful to you she shouldn't be with you trust a a major thing in relationships.

Well, it really depends on your age like sheepdog say she might throw rocks at you, but if your older she might. Girls well here is a check list:-tries to be your partner (sometimes)-She smiles when she talks to you or a slight bigger smilewhen she talks to you (unless she smiles a lot)-She doesn't question you if you give her a present for christmas, or what you celebrate, and her birthday-and more but thoughs are simple.

I am starting to know how our former President Bush feels. It's just amazing what I get the blame for, even when I'm innocent.
Couple weeks ago I get a not very nice email from a puppy customer complaining because I hadn't mailed them their dogs registration papers. So I emailed them back and apoligised, since I do often forget about that sort of thing. Anyway, I had to ask them for the date of birth the pups were born, and any information they had from when they picked up the pup, or had it sent to them. I honestly didn't remember the people, but that doesn't mean anything, I don't remember people under the best of circumstance. Sure, I can look at one of my dogs and tell you who the grandmother was, but don't ask me to pick out a puppy customer from last week in a police line up cause I probably couldn't do it. While I don't always send off for the registration papers and frequently send pups to their new home without them, I do always give the people a shot record, and the date of birth and the sire and dam information are on those records. Anyway, I finally heard back from them, and they told me that I had named the male puppy one name, and the female another, and they gave me the date of birth. So no I'm really starting to scratch my head and wonder what's going on. For one thing, I never name my pups, I leave that for their new owner. And for another, after I checked my records, I didn't have a litter of pups of that breed born on the day they said. I thought maybe they hadn't read the shot record right. So I really started digging. I went threw all my old airbills, and all my sold puppy notes. I even went to my Pay Pal account and went back over 6 months to see where they had made a payment on the pup. I did a search of my email account, and while I found several emails that we had exchanged back and forth, there was no kind of finialization email, like one that said "ok, we sent you the deposit," or "ok, we will be there on such and such day to pick up the pups." Nothing, not a dang thing. After hours of digging threw every possible thing I might be able to find a connection from, I finally had to email them again and try to explain my delema to them, I figured I was really going to catch hell over it, I was sure they figured I was trying to scam them or cheat them out of their papers, but I just can't send out dog registration papers to anybody that asks for some and have to do things right.

So, finally a few days ago I get an email back from them. They apoligised profusly. Turns out I was not the breeder they bought the puppies from!!!! Sheeesh! Can you believe that one?

Awwwwww, I feel so bad for you! I don't want to be a puppy breeder, I prefer more like an engineer, of some sort.

Hey, i'm 14 and in year 10, and i'm a christian, there's this girl that i like who's 15 and amazingly hot, (she's turning 16 in march) thankfully for me she likes me back, ALOT! She's always telling me she likes me and plays it off by waiting a moment and saying she was just joking. One time she actually whispered "I love you" thinking i wouldn't hear but i was able to read her lips and told her I knew what she said and then she was like "Oh,... I was just joking." I told her she always does that and then she said "I know."

 

Anyways, back to the point, i met her in year 9 when she moved here (grand cayman) from the states, and i started talking with her and getting to know her and eventually asked her out and she said no. I decided to suck it up and be a man about it, and the day after that we started talking again. So on that friday she got her friend to ask me if i liked her, now, my manness declared that since she said no i should stop liking her and just stay friends so you know how the rest goes.

 

I decided to like her again, and on the next monday she came where i usually hang out and sat down and wouldn't talk to me, so my cousin talked to her and found out she was upset that i didn't like her. blah blah blah, now, i asked her out again in september, said she didnt know yet, what i didnt know was that she had a boyfriend at the time who she is still with. I still have feelings for her, but don't want her because of her boyfriend.

 

Sadly, she's a christian and knows she shouldn't be with him as he smokes weed and is a heavy drinker, i can see that he's breaking her heart like a twig and it's killing me to see her upset, I plan on asking her why she's with him and hopefully get her to go out with someone else who actually likes her *remember I don't mean me alone,* and doesn't smoke or drink

 

Honestly, I need everyone's opinions on this.

 

Well, just keep trying, I mean eventually she will probably break up with him. I wouldn't want to be with some guy who was always jacked-up on that stuff....no offense. So, just try to comfort her, grow closer to her if you can, have study dates. Just get close enogh that she is wanting to break up with her bf to be with you. So "safe-date" as it is called on Reba (channel 35 on Time warner cable). BY safe-dating I mean, you don't go on 'dates" ever though they are kinda "dates," Also never go out with her alone, always go with friends, or double date! but you two just be friends trying to get to friends to go out!
