I recently read a news that SONY has been forced to cancel many OEM netbook orders for the recent Japan's crysis of Nuclear leakage. Is that true? Does that means the production of SONY netbooks will shrink? Is there any relationship with some new unfamous brands netbooks pop out on Internet for sale? Is there any chance that these netbooks are the products of SONY's OEM cancelled orders?

I find the win 7 is very slow in my newest netbook so I want to try the linux. Any guy can give me some suggestion about the Ubuntu Netbook Remix and Ylmf_OS_3.0?PS: My netbook (laptopspark.com)CPU Intel Atom D425 1.8GHZRAM 1gHD 320G

Since installing the last update for Ubuntu 10.10, I can not play SuperTuxKart, SuperTux, Secret Maryo Chronicles, etc.in my Ubuntu netbook Has anyone else had the same problem...???

My Laptop (netbook) is Degee I8B11D4 and recently it has picked up this annoying habit of stopping and freezing pretty much any program I run every 2 to 10 minutes. No matter the program, everything from Torchlight to windows explorer(actually froze firefox after typing that), the program will freeze and I will get the "not responding" message most of the time. The amount of time it will lock up varies roughly between 5-30 seconds and sometimes longer. My anti-virus(avast) tells me I'm clean, and I have defragmented and cleaned out my HDD. I even went through and cleaned as much dust as I could find and still to no avail. I have no real idea what is causing this. I am REALLY looking forward to BF3. I am an avid BF2142 fan, and just love the battlefield simulation. On the other hand there is also Diablo III, Diablo I is a classic, and part 2 just plain owns all other traditional style RPG. d**n I can't forget about the new Star Wars MMO, that game is looking to as epic as any other MMO to date. But there is also that new one I cannot remember the name. I remember that you can be criminal or L.E.O. TBH there are so many awesome games on the horizon that I will not be able to choose. If only I had the cash to get them all. ------------------------------------------------------------
