  1. I don't know about garden solar lights.

My father brought about 20 of them.

about 3 had broke in the wind and when it goes dark they turn on as they should. Within about 2 hours they are back out again as the power runs out before you know it.

Solar power can be pretty good, if you don't use that many electrical items. Recently I visited a public  'house of the future', it was completely powered by solar energy and I think they realised that it didn't produce much because the only things I saw were lights, TV and a fridge that were electrical. It really was pathetic.

At the moment, I think we should just stick to solar powered garden lights. Hopefully, the technology will advance pretty quickly (like everything else is at the moment), then, and only then, can we start thinking of solar powered everythings.

  2. I agree!

If you really want to make money from your site then you have to make your site as friendly to your visitors as possible, meaning no popups or popunders.

    Hi:

I keep wavering on the issue of pop ups and pop unders.  For a while I had them, but noticed a big drop off in traffic, as well as complaints.

Somebody actually linked to my site with the comment" Great site, but too many annoying pop up ads".  Gee...thanks.  Who in their right mind would follow that link?

    So I removed them.

But, and extra 3 bucks for every 1000 visitors would be nice.  I am probably going to experiment with exit ads.

  3. I don't know if that is quite right.

I have had a few clicks from Google already and my site has only been in Google for about 1 - 2 months. It's also a new site.

I do find that after about 6 months or so my rankings are alot better and I start get alot more clickthrus by then.

There are two known Google issues/techniques known as 'ageing delay' and the 'sandbox' which basically means that if your site is new, that it won't show up in any Google searches for anything but the title of the site for at least six months.

  4. Hi,

Just making a site and adding a robots text file to it won't do anything. The google crawler is just like a human in that someone has to tell it that you are on the web. This can be done by you submitting your home page using the link you mentioned or by having other sites linking to you, which means the other sites will be telling the Google crawler that you site is on the web. Well that's if they are already in Google of course.

Getting alot of good quality sites to link to yours will help to improve your search engine rankings. There are also alot of other things that will also improve your rankings.

    aye there,
Just want to know the quickest and best way to start getting good ranks in google search engine. Im making a new site from scratch and i decided to use meta tags including the robots, index all tag. If i already have the robots tag on each of my pages, could i still submit my main URL to google and not worry about them ignoring it? or could i just leave my site as it is and google will automatcally send a spider crawl to my site and add it to their directory?.. im just confused about this all, i just want to get the most out of my site for more traffic. thnks.

  5. Hi,

I have design a US product price comparison directory that has search features. You can easily search and find products from a large amount of US merchants in one location. You can also compare the prices of each product that you are interested in to see which merchant sells that product for the least amount of money.

Products include: computers, health and beauty, garden equipment, home products, educational products, and much more.

Please take a look and see what you think

  7. 800x600 is good so that it makes your site look more fuller and has more information contained within it. 1024x768 will mean that you may have to put more info into your site.

Anyway if they change it, I will not need to change any of my sites as I have made the defualt size at 800x600.

If anybody makes their resolution smaller than that then they have to scroll the page left and right to see it all.

If they make it bigger, no matter how much bigger then I have made my site so it expands to the full screen resolution size.

So I will not really have to do much to my site. I may increase the font size a little though.

I am glad that I had done it that way now.

Windows xp's default resolution is 800x600, The reason, tonnes of people still has 14" monitors, now almost a decade sinse 1024x768 became an 'normal' screen resolution, Windows Vists (as far as i know) will have a default screen resolution of 1024x768, 800x600, i hope, will soon be only for people who have tiny monitors or cant see well, no more trying to cram in all you can to fir an 800x600 resolution, the standard is soon to be 1024x768! Finnaly!

All my sites are designed to fit in a 800x600 resolurion, to please everyone, Im am about to change this, Im tired of running out of room, or people complaining that images are too small, we live in the age of 10mbps connection, large images re fine these days.

Say no to small resolution, join the masses and get big!!!!!!

over 60% or was users have a resolution of 1024x768 or greater! If your still at 800x600 or smaller, try 1024x768, you may find that you are viewing sites as they were designed to be viewed.

  8. I don't think solar panel is all that good at the moment. But don't forget that things are keep getting better and smaller.

They will probably improve the way solar panels work and also make them smaller and product more power per unit.

This could be a reality if you live under the following conditions:

    1. You live in the desert (so there is no clouds)

    2. You have lots of land

    3. You have enough money to buy alot of solar panels

    4. You can find a way to store alternating current in a battery

If you have that you are all set to go!

  9. Yeah,I heard about that. I think it's a very good idea.I think they use it just for the operations that are risky and need to be done just right.A robot can be more steady than a human hand. That's one advantage. But I don't think robots will take over the hospitals unless they are controled by a human just like a computer. The robot will only do what the human tells it to do.

  10. It's hard to say as they both have their advantages and disadvantages.

    Notice from Klass:
Everything has its advantages or disadvantages. One Advantage is Klass writing this note for you not explaining the advantages or disadvantages of the PSP vs Nintendo DSOne disadvantage of this not would be that you properly explained yourself when you posted and therefore this note would not exist.Another Advantage is Klass warning you.Another disadvantage would be Klass does not get to warn you.In short give an opinion of what your posting about.
