  1. I remember these. They really helped reduce the glare. Also, even with the monitor's Anti-glare feature, using the eye-protectors helped alot even after that. I don't know about you, but before I bought one, my eyes used to hurt a lot and when I'm on the PC, usually, I never get sleepy, which is bad ;). But when I bought it, I started falling asleep while on the PC because the glare was reduced so much. =P

  2. Well, in our quickly evolving world of technology, there's this wonderful thing called the touch screen. Not just one type, but many types. For example: There's the touchscreen on the iPhone, which ONLY works with your outer-skin, and there's the other touch screen type(the NDS(Nintendo DS)) where you have to put force. So this for me raises a question. Why is it that the iPhone is finger-sensitive and the NDS is pressure sensitive? Can one or the other really call itself a "touch-screen"? Just wanted to know what you guys thought. In my opinion, the iPhone should have both touchscreen capabilities(finger and pressure-sensitivity). What do you guys think?

  3. Here's a list of all the new HTML 5 elements:
    <article>
    <aside>
    <audio>
    <canvas>
    <command>
    <datalist>
    <details>
    <figcaption>
    <figure>
    <footer>
    <header>
    <hgroup>
    <kegen>
    <mark>
    <meter>
    <nav>
    <output>
    <progress>
    <rp>
    <rt>
    <ruby>
    <section>
    <source>
    <summary>
    <time>
    <video>

    Most are just for the sake of organization. Some define specific things, like Ruby.

    As for audio and video, each browser will have its own way of parsing that. They're just like <embed> except updated. I don't see youtube updating to it, though, because they use flash...

    So basically, they've just released new elements for the sake of organization? So then, why are people saying that HTML5 is more efficient? Is it that it's efficient for the user or the person that implements it into their site?

  4. So, I see that most websites are switching over to HTML5(Youtube, google etc) and that the website's are getting "a lot more efficient" to use, such as the new video relations on youtube(the videos you see on the side), but I just want to ask one thing about this HTML5 revision. What's the difference between this HTML5 and the previous versions of HTML? I've read on wikipedia that there are new tags such as <audio> and <video> but what exactly do they do, and how do they relate to the new youtube? So, I'm mostly asking about youtube, but if you can, can you explain why HTML5 is different?

  5. You are probably using the rich text editor. Go here and under Posting Settings, change the text editor from "rich text editor" to "standard editor" and save the settings.

    AHH. I see! Thanks so much. Now I can actually edit the post how I want it and I don't have to erase everything to edit one single thing. Thanks a lot. =)

  6. Lol, I really can't see how "organisations" is not correct spelling. When you say "is", you pronounce "izz" and when you say organisations, you pronounce is "organ-izz-ayshens", same as "organizations". America just took the next step and put a "z" in place of the "s", although we know that "organisations" is truly the correct spelling, because of the "is" and "iz" scenario. Just saying. =P

  7. Cool. But yeah, I guess it can depend on the system, but as you know, Safari doesn't support flash as well as most other browsers such as chrome and Firefox, so that could also be an issue that deals with the actual browser and not the person's PC performance. But anyway, you're right, bc my PC has bad processing speeds and takes a while to load some flash objects, let alone play those objects. Let us know how your tests go. =)

  8. Thanks very much for welcoming me, but I have a question. Everytime I come to post, I can align my pointer to where I want to type in, and so I always have to type on top of copied/quoted text. Is there a fix for that? Thanks!

  9. I've never actually thought of remembering a PW that way.. Really smart. If you wanna hear my way, it's simple and similar to your method. What I do is I think of something I encounter daily(like an awards certificate for example) and I take the date of the certificate(say for example December 19, 1988), then I take the first line of the certification(Ex. "This is an excellence award") and I make a password out of it. The password would be (D191988Tiaea). I don't think anyone will be able to figure that out even if they had the certificate(unless they read this post. lol)

  10. I strongly advise you don't buy a locked iPhone, or for that matter, just keep your Android. My friend had an iPhone before and 90% of the apps are $0.99 +, and the ones that ARE free are usually the trial/demo version of the full App. Another reason you should stick to your droid is, for the same reason you came up with, except that in only a few years, the android apps will surpass those of the iphone and you'll have a bunch of apps and most of them will be free. That's just my two cents(Only $0.97 more for an app on the iPhone :P ). Haha, jk. ;)

  11. If you don't mind, you can just upload your vid to youtube with these regular formats(.mp4, .mpeg, .mov(or .mvo, idk), .mmv, etc) and from there when your video finishes processing, you can go to the bottom(where your description is) and get the embed code for it. Then you simply put the embed code anywhere on your website and that's where your video will show up. Note however, that the youtube logo will appear on the embedded video, but it shouldn't be much of a problem.

  12. I truly believe in the quantum theory. What else can explain the electron's double ability to act as a particle and a wave? Also the fact that Albert Einstein pursued it aggressively and found out that all energy is quantized and electrons shoot "beams" that act as "waves" and that explains their wave-like property. I just learned this from physics class a few weeks ago, so some of my points on it may be wrong, but the quantum theory is a very solid one.
