Wireless Energy Transfer

Intel is in its way to bring forth the technology of wireless charging. Intel had been working on this technology of developing resonant wireless charging since 2008.This area of application where wireless charging using magnetic induction over a distance of few millimeters and centimeters has attracted the attention of many but much hasn't been been done due to lack of efficient means of energy transfer and slow process of consensus development.Since the proposition of Nicola Tesla's wireless power transmission, researchers have developed several techniques for moving electricity over long distances. A few of them have been found to be in use practically. Wireless energy transmission in the name of radio waves used to send and receive cell phone, TV, radio is already in use.Radio waves propagate in all directions until they find an antenna tuned to the right frequency. A similar method for transferring electrical power will be both ineficient and dangerous.
