Wow.. Another free hosting service.. Xisto - Web Hosting must be doing really good, am I right ;) As always, this is another great offer, with an even better, professional design.

However, there are some mistakes on the web site that you should deal with. I'm not criticising, just pointing the out ;)

You said 10GB BW is offered, and that's stated on the "Packages" page, but the home page and the "Reliability" image say 5GB BW

How do you get back to the home page? I can't seem to find any links

"Packages" - We currently provider

I didn't find any other spelling mistakes, so consider this a great start. However, I would change the forum link to point directly to the subforum on Xisto, but that's just me. Good luck with the service!

~edit~

Just a few more things on the TOS page ;)

"We are investing LOT of Funds" - should be either a lot of or lost of

"active, we mean, good" - leave out the commas

"terminate sites who break" - WHICH break

I might have made a mistake, too, but this is as far as my grammar knowledge goes :P

We are investing LOT of Funds for the maintenance of CPANEL based Free Web Hosting accounts. We request users to use our resources only for *ACTIVE* Websites. By the word active, we mean, good websites with content and information.

Should read as follows:

We are investing a LOT of Funds for the maintenance of CPANEL based Free Web Hosting accounts. We request users to use our resources only for *ACTIVE* Websites. By the word "ACTIVE", we mean good websites with content and information.

Here is my version of the paragraph:

We pride ourselves on the extensive investement we are making in the area of cPanel based Free Web Hosting services. We request that the resources we provide are used for the purpose of fully develope, functioning, and active websites that contain entertaining, useful, or educational content.

# Qupis reserves the right to terminate sites who break our rules without any notice.

Should read as:

# Qupis reserves the right to terminate sites which violate our rules without any notice.

Other than that, everything looked pretty good to me.

Glad to see that you are giving this method a try with cPanel. Curious how you managed the injection script! I always have trouble with files that coded in the same language as the injection script...

Hope this goes well.

There seems to be a problem with the order script:

Warning: Unknown: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/home/qupis/public_html/order/index.php) is not within the allowed path(s): (1) in Unknown on line 0
Warning: Unknown: failed to open stream: Operation not permitted in Unknown on line 0

Fatal error: Unknown: Failed opening required '/home/qupis/public_html/order/index.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/;) in Unknown on line 0

thank you man it look like a good host

I have been hosted with Qupis for a while now, just as a backup host and a testing site and I have been very pleased! You get the same reliability as here (and Xisto - Web Hosting) all for free. The one line add is not much and doesn't take away from my website.

Qupis and Xisto and Xisto and Xisto - Web Hosting are all owned by the Xisto Corporation, but each offer different services.Trap17 and Xisto are Free if you post on their Forums. Xisto is more technical in nature.Computinghost is a paid service with several differnt packages available.Qupis is free, but a small ad appears on each page.Take your pick. No Whining allowed.

This is really a great service, even though I never liked ads which isn't mine, but you get quite a lot and you don't really need to post anywhere and the ads don't really look very bad, at least the demo I saw.

I looked around the site a little bit and I liked what I saw. I think give members a choice between one ad or posting is a great idea and it will hopfully bring in more people. More people on these forums is always a plus. One question though it says it comes with Cpanel does that mean that it also has Fantastico?

I know this thread is an old one. One thing i wanna say is, i can's access demo.qupis.com. And, you should put the link on homepage so that ppl could see how is the ad and decide to use or not to use the service.

Qupis support forum is located here Qupis Free Hosting Forum

A demo of what "one single text ad at the bottom" looks like, visit http://forums.xisto.com/qupis/ And the final word on the bandwidth is: Qupis offers 5 GB bandwidth. The typo will be fixed very soon.

Thank you.

The demo siteis accessible now. The ad is fine, not too big, some sites out a bug abnner itself. And moreover the image ad appears in the bottom of the page, so its not that distracting anyway. By the way the title of the thread and in the website is a bit misleading. It might have been Text Image ad at bottom instead of text ad at bottom. I see that libraries like GD and functions like mail() or sendmail are disabled. So the hostinf is very much limited. But since there is MySQL database, its the perfect hosting to test databse things. And moreover there is no need to post or anything like that. So its great for a freat start in web development.Edit: Sorry for the typos, I am unable to edit them. May be some problem with my browser.

It seems that I have seen a few newer comments... It does kinda seem a bit familiar Qupis. I do like commenting on Xisto... I also like the fact that there is something for Xisto... It keeps getting harder to post, but it is still SOOOO worth it. And I unfortunately find out the hard way some days when I find out that I run out of myCent, and I need to keep up with posting. So I think I will have to look into a little more....- skedad -
