Lochness Monster Exists? Does it really?....

Recommended Posts

The Legendary Lochness monster...Well...the first time i heard about this 'legendary' creature, was many years ago. I had only just recently seen the movie: 'Jurrasic Park Three'. When i saw a program on this monster, it was about how people claim it to be a dragon and things like that. I was yound and so obviously, i thought i knew it all!I thought that it was the dinosaur that lives in the sea! lol!But that isnt the case, is it?Is it real? And if so, what is it?As far as i know, a little girl drew a picture of it when she went fishing or something like that and this isnt really reliable information..So...did the Lochness monster really exist? If so, then how??? Is it scientifically possible?

Well, one thing I can say for sure is: I really don't know! Even if one million of scientists will have proved that there is absolutely no mysterious animal in the Loch Ness, people will still talk about it and keep speculating and sometimes they will still see and photograph it. Anyway, what I find interesting is that the name "Nessie" somehow gives the feeling that the creature is a girl. Nessie doesn't sound like a boy's name. If you then keep in mind that the Loch Ness is really deep, the whole Nessie message can be reduced to "women's thoughts and secrets lie so deep that men will never discover". That's the philosophic view of Nessie.:P:mellow:

I thought the Loch Ness monster turned out to be a very shadowy, very staged photo of a kid's pool toy (those inflatable rings that they sit in - photog. found one that had a little head on it like a sea monster or dragon would if you used your imagination). That's just what I'd heard about it, anyway. I could be thinking of something entirely different but it sounds about right.

lol, Sarah!I had heard of that too but that was just a joke that some people had made making fun of the Loch Ness monster...That was a really funny one, though...How can you be sure that it doesnt exist if people have actually already seen it in real life...?

Well, Loch Ness probably isn't really that deep....also, there was one type of dinosaur that looks a heck of a lot like the pictures we see of Nessie and the like. So, maybe some survived...

Don't claim that something don't exist just because you didn't see it.
They recently proove that there really exists giant Squid. Check about that here:

So, I tell you, it's just a matter of time when they will find nessie

There is sure a lot of weird looking fish things at great depths under the water, but I doubt they would be anything as large as the supposed Loch Ness monster. The water pressure is too great.

Not necessarily. There are all kinds of animals that live at extreme depths, and have adjusted to it. Kent Hovind expounds on the sighted dinosaurs. admittedly, he has some "interesting" theories, that i don't necessarily agree with, but even if you just watch it for the actual news reports and documented cases, you'll leave it convinced that something is there.

A lot of people say that Nessie is a hoax - But i ask you, How do people know if something is a fake if they have no proof it is fake? For all we know, there could be lots of creatures in the world that have survived from the dinosaurs. Take the birds, for example - their species has survived from the times of the dinosaurs. It's the same with snakes.

Although the idea of a huge monster in the middle of a lake is very unlikely, until scientists prove that there is no such thing as the Loch Ness Monster, then no one can say if it is a hoax or if it is real.

Well, I personally do believe in the Loch Ness Monster, or at least, it's rendition.

Don't claim that something don't exist just because you didn't see it.

They recently proove that there really exists giant Squid. Check about that here:

Very good link, finaldesign; I've actually heard of the many attempts to discover giant squid and it seems the scientists out there have finally made some progress!

In any case, I believe it is a silly thing to assume that supposed "mythical" creatures do not exist. For instance, aliens, Big Foot, Loch Ness Monster, etc. Why would one believe it does not exist. In all actuality, what makes those animals different from other animals. Those are still animals, we just have yet to discover and make it a reality that those creatures are of actual substance. I believe it to be a matter of illresponsibility to think that, for instance, there is no other life on any other planet but our own. That's silly, wouldn't you think; wouldn't you think it to be illresponsible.

Well, anyways, so as to not stray too far from the subject, I would have to say, yes, the Loch Ness Monster is real and until proved "without-a-doubt" otherwise, I will continue to believe such.

In my opinion the lockness monster does exist. Here are a few points to back up my theory:1. Why would tourists make this stuff up? If there is no lochness monster then why would tourists go around putting a make belief monster into people imginations?2. Why wouldn't there be it? There is no reason why the lochness monster couldn't exist. In the past there have been many unsual sightings and this is just another one. Plus scientist say that it is an ancestor of a dinosaur, we know dinosaurs existed, so why not the lochness monster?3. Pictures and Photographs of it. Even if people made up the pictures, I'm sure that after all the time of people exploring the loch and watching it, someone is bound to have taken a proper picture. So to sum up, IT DOES EXIST!

Personally I think IF it does exist, they should leave it well alone. Can you imagine if they drained the loch for instance and there it was, scientists would drag the thing out and just do tests on it. Would end up being captive the rest of its life.Humans cant leave things to just live as God intended to, we have to mess around and ruin things. If it is real and it wants to be found it will surface, just knows what would happen to it i guess if it did reveal itself.

There are tons of professors, docs and other highly educated people who spent a life time trying to discover Nessie. Why shouldn't we just accept the fact that he/she (is Nessie male or female actually) doesn't exist. It could be he maybe did exist actually and people saw him hundreds of years ago. Maybe he did exist but he's now death. Ever thought of that possibility? -=jeroen=-
