Is Tutorial Series Allowed Or Not

Recommended Posts

Hello Admins & Moderators.I am planning to write a great tutorial for this forum but the topic is lengthy is not possible to cover in a single post. So, I want to get know about that are we allowed to write a Tutorial series or not.And my second query is related to moderation of tutorial topics. How long moderator will take to review and publish tutorial for others? And will we get any notification about its rejection with reason so we could correct them and resubmit again by removing all the objections.Hope Admins & Moderators understand my words and will give me right guidance regarding this. Reply of my query is not just for my benefit also will help others as well.

A Tutorial series would be fine. And it usually is not a long wait for a Moderator to review and make it available for the general membership to read.I am on-line at least once per day and will watch for your Tutorial.

Agyat,My only word of advice to you would be that you DO NOT paraphrase existing tutorials and submit them here. As you are aware, you were warned before because your articles were tweaked versions of existing articles which you copy/pasted.If the tutorial is not authored by you but you want to share it, you are free to do so with quote tags but please do not submit content that is not yours. I appreciate the fact that you are taking out the time to submit an article but I hope you understand and appreciate the rules of this forum :)Best of luck and we are all eager to see what you submit

I'd love to see more tutorials around here as well, but like Velma said, please don't copy them from others. If you need an idea on how to create your own, take the subject at hand (let's say it was how to draw a frog in Photoshop) and then alter it (to show how to draw a horse in Photoshop). Now you can basically still use the information, while completely altering the tutorial, as well as the end result. As a writer, nothing irritates me more than plagiarism though.
