Astro-Meteorological Prediction

Recommended Posts

When browsing through I came across one interesting topic of astro-meteorological prediction, which was done by S. Ramachandran. He in his prediction said that North-west part of India will be worst hit by monsoon and said the best rainfall during this year will happen between 3rd week of July and 15th of September and according to his prediction Chennai will have floods between mid-November and mid-December, also said that he does these predictions using vedic knowledge. It seems that he also has some well-proven predictions in the past for natural calamities like Kandla (Gujarat) cyclone in June 1998 to the Sumatra earthquake (2004), Mumbai-Chennai floods (2005), Chinese quake (2008), monsoon failure in the country (2009), Thane cyclone (December 2011), etc and also said that the Guchol typhoon now threatening countries in the Pacific, such as east China, Taiwan and south Japan, was forecast by him in December 2011 itself and had been carried in the media.

He claims that his predictions are more accurate than IMD (Indian Meteorological Department). He says that his predictions are based on inter-planetary relationships and the struggle between their orbiting positions and the effect of their disturbance on sun and earth unlike the present scientific scenario which uses just wind pattern and pressure systems in the ocean to forecast weather and says that this will be accurate only for a couple of days and finally, which shook me was when said that he is making his research towards perfections and once all done, he will be able to forecast extreme weather conditions and calamities and public tables similar to NASA’s eclipse table for 7000 years.

So, yet another scientist in a different dimension. Let us hope that he be successful in his work, so that it could be of help for the mankind to take decisions.
