Lloyds Chemist Constant problems with our branch

Below is a copy of something I posted about on my Facebook page.
I want to make it known how bad the service at our local branch of Lloyd's chemist has become.

In the past, prescriptions were either late, items were missing from the list, or the prescribed dosage was wrong,and now I have written about the most recent muck-up.
I quote what I wrote about it:

I picked up Frankie's insulin from Lloyd's chemist on Thursday, Frankie took a pen out of the fridge this morning and looked at the pen, he thought the design of the pen had changed so he took the lid off and noticed the solution was different. He looked at the box and noticed the insulin was a different sort on Frankies perscription.So a trip back round the chemist and the pharmacist checked in a book to see what the difference was between the 2 pens (I think he should have known what the difference was).
So, photographic evidence is going in an e-mail to head office as it is not the 1st time our perscriptions have been wrong from Lloyd's chemist we will see if head office will do anything about it this time with the evidence we have, if not news media and London Tonight here we come.

Wow, that is really bad news! It's a good thing the mistake was noticed before the person actually took the wrong medicine, that could cause things to go terribly wrong. So often people aren't really aware of the exact medications they are taking and this could be a huge problem if the patient wasnt aware of what is going on. I thought with all the computerized records these days mistake like that aren't supposed to happen.

There has been nothing but trouble with our branch of that chemist.

 

Either:

The dosage is wrong.

Medicines are missing from the prescription list.

The repeat prescription is late or not ready


We can now add to the list (as that was a new one): the medication supplied by them is wrong.

 

There was never a problem when their previous pharmacist was there, but after he died, there have been a number of temporary pharmacists there who never seemed to get things right.

 

I must say the last pharmacist beat it all, when he had to, after issuing the wrong kind of insulin, had to check in a book whether there was a difference between the two.

 

Add to that the fact that in the past (but they must have been put into their places by head office after our complaint, as that seems have stopped) the staff used to look down their noses at you, and you can imagine what a great service we have been receiving.
