Micrography

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if anyone had experience with taking high-detail micrographs with digital cameras. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Can you affix a "common" camera to the first lens that is closest to the eye and still get a good picture? How do you order the necessary cameras? I have experience with microscopes, but I know little regarding the photography of what is on the stage.Any answers would be appreciated,Zeraelieus

I am new with digital photography and have an average digital camera with 7 mega pic-cells. I have done some micro photos of which the photo of the mosquito is the best at that resolution. The full picture of the mosquito at 7 MP resolution. Apart from that I have little knowledge. If you are using a camera with the additional lens mountable the go through the manual of the lens or better still go to the website of the camera maker and look for the accessories supported and get details of the lens, how it can be used for micro photography.

If you're new to photography then check the digital photography school blog. I prefer digital photography school tips here. Some nice tutorial and beginner stuff on that site.

The site is wonderful and I believe for all new photographers it will be a good starting ground . But since it is from other site I will not paste something here but will definitely keep the pages , some of them of course, for later reference and study. Thanks anyways for the help.
