Some Pictures I Took From My Room A sample of my photography, limited to the scene outside my window

You took that?Wow...But there seems to be a difference in the buildings... maybe you took it from different windows? I mean, the first one is taken near ground window, it's level to the ground, the second seemed to be taken from a higher level, and the buildings look different, the fourth one seems like you are now on a lower level, also parallel to the horizon, and the last one even lower... and well, the buildings are way too flat to be in the same area as the first two building photographs...The others, well, no comment, because I can't tell...But they're all very proffessional photographs, I must say. I especially like the second one. Good lighting, but the skies a bit blurred... unless you wanted it to be like that. :lol:But I really don't think you took all that out from your room window... maybe in different room windows?

Well noticed! I've got three windows in my room, and it is a rooftop room....so you can guess. It's somewhat like sitting in a lighthouse. 

It's sort of like a 360 degree view from my room.

Wow... You've got such a cool room then. I would want to have a room like yours... you know, 36o degrees view and different levels, though, when you sleep of course, you might feel a bit vulnerable. especially if it's all glass around you and no solid, white walls that aren't transparent.I also like the way you've made the first lightning photograph black and white too. It looks nice. Good contrast, and the lightning (that is white, of course) contrasts with the black buildings...Once again, good job!!!

Woah, those look amazing; almost too cool to be photos. It's amazing how you got that lightning strike too, since they're only there for a split second. Excellent job.

The technique's pretty easy actually, if you ever want to try out. Just boost up the shutter speed, somewhere between 30 secs to 1 min. Within that time, during a thunderstorm, multiple lightning flashes are bound to occur.

Oohh... nice. Thanks for the advice. That is, if there will ever be a thunderstorm where I live.It always rain and all that, but it never, ever, gives me a thunderstorm! How annoying!!! :lol:But I'll keep that in mind.

But that only works at night time when its dark, any hint of sunlight, or even bright street lights would wash the image out over a long exposure. Bad times

I managed to get a photo of a lightning strike during daytime out of my window just be hitting the shutter button when i saw a light. It worked fine, only i had accidentally auto-focussed my camera on the window frame.... I just got a blurry white streak

I like the HDR image of sunset/dusk. Ive been trying to get that sort of striking blue colour in some of my photos but i cant seem to get it, is it just a case of playing with the levels to boost the blue and contrast?

I have loads of photos to go through but i just cant be bothered!! Im hoping for a digi photo frame for christmas so i can actually use the photos i take, ive spent enough on the camera XD

Really ultimate if you have really shot those pics. It really shows your photographic expertise. Are you a professional photographer. Or its just your hoby. What ever it is you are a good photo grapher with a good photographic sense according to me.

I have to say I agree with the above. I like that lightening shot. Do you realize just how hard it is to catch a lightening strike like that? I have some friends that do that, and they can go 2 or 3 rolls of film before even getting 1 strike. How many did it take you? as for the 2nd one? hmmm sorry bud but can we say photo shop. just being honest.
3rd the word interesting is the 1st thing that popped into my head. very nice. the last 3 unreal. very beautiful shots indeed.
