Perhaps it doesn't work because you are using a cracked instead of a legal version? Just a wild guess.
The Zend encrypted pages are supposed to be uploaded using BINARY format rather that ASCII Format. If you are using an FTP client, Please configure it so that the files are transfered in binary format.
