Under the new Credit System, will those Members having Hosting Plans be identified something like the HOSTED status now displayed? If not, how will Mods know who has a Hosting Plan?
For now, you will see myCENT if they have more than 5 posts. You will see [READY]xx.xx in myCENT if they have not deposited to Account Credit Balance. A member with huge myCENT READY would mean they have not signed up with Billing and Support, since the deposit is not made after 100 myCENT. Also the indication is that EARNED does not how any money also means a member did not sign up with Billing and Support. This is a way to track who has signed up with Billing and Support, and a higher chance that a member is a hosting member.OpaQue is working on the indication so that the board shows either cpanel name (like the current display) or display of domain, i.e. if I have hosting with buffalohelp.net and Xisto, my profile would show buffalohelp.net. This goes the same with sub-domain names. But for now I have not heard anything back. And I'm not sure if OpaQue wants to have Xisto moderators be responsible for hosting members "hosting" trouble. That's why he merged Xisto - Web Hosting techs to support Xisto hostings as well (in the past it was I who supported all Xisto/Xisto hosting issues.)One thing is for sure, [HOSTED] group will be eliminated pending OpaQue's final decision. The forum's group policy no longer matters with hosting account since the Credit System V3. Now, should we still keep [HOSTED] for visual verification? I don't know. What do you guys think? Is it important to know who is hosting and who is not?
It's useful not just for us, but for other members too. Often if someone needs some help with setting up their hosting, they will PM a hosted member. If you can't tell who is hosted, you lose that avenue of support.

I'm thinking there should be an indicator someplace on the member's identification. Like rvalkass says, it helps to identify others on the system for Support and help.
