Multi-moderation Dropdown Menu can it be moved? ATTN: OPAQUE

a little template tweaking for opaque. :ocan the multi-moderation dropdown menu (i'll label it as MMDM for the purposes of this thread) be moved somewhere closer to the moderation option dropdown menu (MODM)? at the moment, the MMDM is way down below the page, just above the latest activity list.i'm thinking the MMDM can be moved closer to the MODM to facilitate moderation, one above the other. the fast reply form and the similar topics list is in between the MMDM and the MODM, and is somehow getting in the way of moderation functions. they should appear together, and not be separated as it is now.my reasons? 1. less scrolling to find appropriate moderator actions as required by a post. (i'm lazy :() 2. with the MMDM and the MODM side by side (or one above the other), post moderation becomes moderator-friendly. :Di didn't include a screenshot to illustrate my case here, just see how far apart the MMDM and the MODM are in this thread. more work for opaque, but i wish it can be implemented very soon if approved by the group. :D

That is lazy :o but I too find it a problem as sometimes I click the wrong option.. I will be calling up OpaQue in a few more hours and asking him whether this is possible..

I doubt that will be done soon as OpaQue is really busy with a few personal projects of his.... So it might be done any time soon or it might be done after a really long time :D

OpaQue,Before asking me to do this :D your Similar Topics mod is embedded with the forum skin (I believe). So only you can do this safely :o

Dooga

Haha, Opaque's so busy. But don't worry, we support him! Well, we support BuffaloHelp as well obviously :o

One thing to consider is that it looks like the Multi-Mod will fit onto the same display line as the Mod-Options with 1024 wide size, but not with 800 wide display size. Is that an issue? I generally do not use anything under about 1000px wide, but what about the others? My Laptop is 1280 wide and I use FF Web Dev Extension to resize to 1000. Will the line wrap if the multi-Nod is added to the Mod-Option line?

thanks. :D i likewise click the wrong option too (mostly the MODM first), then i had to scroll down again to find the MMDM to correctly moderate a post. :P

i'm on 1280x1024 screen resolution also, but my FF browser is set to 1024x768. i tested my FF browser with the webdev extension for a 800x600 resize, and MMDM and MODM seem to reduce itself nicely on my end. weird though if you experience a line wrap distortion on your laptop, jim, when viewed less than 1000. could be a font thing though, as the forum list dropdown menu alongside MMDM is too long as it is, and font size could be the culprit if it does not fit on an 800x600 dimension.

i'm also thinking about having the MMDM and MODM integrated as one, but that's a harder thing for opaque if he is pressed for time. there is the added problem of fitting the long forum list dropdown menu. as it is, moving the MMDM just below the MODM would be sufficient enough for me right now. :P
