Question 1: Can I edit my main username mail account from'username' to 'webmaster' or something?Question 2: how do i install phpNuke to my home page...
#1: No, but you can create an account (like I did) named "Webmaster@domain.com"#2: Install it to the "/" directory. (I believe.)
Ok..and just to make sure what is my ftp info?ftp.trap17.com ????username?password?
FTP: hostjunkies.trap17.comUsername: hostjunkPassword: (Check your PM from Wassie)
ok.thnx but about the phpnuke...there is no '/' directory...so do i make a new folder/dirin WWW named / and put all the phpNuke stuff in there?
"/" means the root directory, it's the base DIR like the "www" and "public_html" directories. Upload PHP-Nuke to the root directory (a.k.a) "/" and going to your site will point visitors to the index.php of PHP-Nuke.
I only suggested "/" because I thought he was installing it via Cpanel. :)Chances are, you should put it in the public_html folder if you're setting things up. It's the best option to do, in my opinion due to organization.
so after i upload the phpnuke to root...should i then delete index.html...?(i think index.html is the default page for ur site?)
You change the default nuke page to index.php (Most likely)
