Transfering A Website Domain Transfer

I currently have a domain registered with xxxxxx. I would like to move it to wherever I have my web site hosted. You indicate you can register domains, but not accept transfers. Is that correct? xxxxxxx would charge me $20 just to keep the domain registration if I move my website.

I just purchased a keyword phrase/Domain/.Com where the phrase has over 4 million monthly searches worldwide, 300,000+ nationally. Also key, the competition  shows only sub-pages on page 1 of Googles search results.

I have an existing website were the keywords of the new URL are also complementary to it.

Question: What would be the best way to funnel the this traffic to my existing site?
